Default header install

ok i recently ordered Pacesetter LTs and ORY-Pipe and after looking around i have a few questions....1- What are the steps to install these? Myself and a buddy of mine are putting them on, i dont have a lot of experience with these but my friend does....2- will they kit have everything i need to do the complete swap? 3- how easily will they mount up to the SLP LM II cat-back ive already got on it? thanks for the help...

just do yourself a favor and buy O2 extentions (or bosch 13111 corvette rear O2's since they'll fit in your front O2 bungs and they're long enough to not require extentions) and DO NOT use the paper gaskets. either reuse your stock manifold gaskets or go out and buy GM OEM gaskets.

Welcome to the site. I see you joined yesterday. Here is a sticky that has a great writeup in it for some Pacesetters. Post #10 and #11. --> https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/520845-mod-guide-induction-exhaust-please-read-before-posting.html

As for your inquiry, Pacesetters come with extensions I believe, but I would recommend picking up the Bosch 13111s. They will be long enough and have a better heating element. Re-use your stock gaskets and header bolts. They will be fine. Your SLP LM II will slide right onto the Y-pipe. Well, maybe not "slide" right on , it might need a little encouragement, but it will all fit together. Good luck.

really? is pacesetter springing for copper gaskets now instead of the paper ones?

i'd STILL recommend GM OEM gaskets, though. from what people have said, they're the best.

If it makes you feel better LS1 headers are the easiest to installed.
