just what does a dual set up sound like over a catback? the bassani sounds better to me over the borla we had on the wife's car. nowhere near as loud and way less interior noise.
Well, the Bassani setup is more of a cross breed. I would still consider it a TD setup though. It is hard to say what one would sound like without hearing it in person. Catbacks sound a bit more metallic and *tingy*. Duals are more flavored IMO. You can tell a dual setup when you hear a car idle and or take off. I can for the most part at least.

. What can I say, they sound fawkin awsome. GM should be shot for going with a y setup and making us bust our ***** for a great sound that should already be there!

go to ls1sound.com and listen in the TD's section give u some idea as what TD's sound like.
I have TD's, custom install. ran me $400.00 installed w/ H/C swap. 231/237 .589/.595 112 man it lopes and peeps always tell me "how did u get that old school sound". if u don't mind it load go for it. noticed ur in Cal. thought they were strict about stuff like this. be carefull.
