its not worth it....unless you get a perfect fit after you heat it up....the heat from the engine will cause it to warp sometimes, and have air leaks....a bellow doesnt exactly show you huge gains anyway....
I certainly didn't gain anything with it, but I did it when I was new to the LS1 and thought it was a great idea. I've had mine on for over two years with no issues whatsoever. Not recommending it, but no leaking issues or cracking issues at all.
Did it on my car and a bunch of others not one issue. If you think that was a pita wait till you do anything to these cars. Plugs headers everything is a pita when it comes to our cars.

I used the SLP smooth bellows, cuz it looked purty, it slipped on just fine and it never had any problems when I still had the car (~35,000 miles).
It is pretty flexible and it shines up REALLY purty like, but it costs ~$45.
You can move it and squeeze it but you can't compress it so it was a tight fit with the MTI carbon look lid.

They buy them because they really are attractive compared to the stock piece when you look at them in person.
People spend $3k on wheels and then $1k on chrome/carbon engine dress-up.
An accordian sitting next to your polished TB (outside) and your painted intake with the red powdercoated fuel rails isn't going to cut it.
$45 is a lot for plumbing but it is probably the highest quality coupler you can get, I'm not defending or anything and a coupler can freakin' only be so high of a quality but it isn't going to break anything and you CAN freakin' polish/shine it until it looks dripping wet.
Unless you live on a dirt road it will also keep that shine for as long as you bay stays partially clean.

The $399.00 was there for the longest time to, it just lowered because the C6 hit a few years. I mean like in the last few months too. Corvette owners go gaga on crap like this.
