Default Broke Off Bolt In Block! Help!

Alright guys....removing pass. header and the farthest back header bolt broke off at the head. NONE of the bolt is sticking out, ITS FLUSH and the rest of it is stuck in the block. What can I do to get this out? There is very limited room to work in there as you all know. I have limited tools so welding and the such is not an option for me. I'm basically stuck here and can't go any further until I get this bolt out.

Anybody have any experience in the situation?

What can I do?

Thanks in advance!

use a small drill bit and drill through the center of the bolt, then do it again with a bigger bit until the outside of the bolt is wek enough for you to scrape out. be sure to clean out the hole really good afterward.

Thats how I would recomend him do it too, but its not gona happen as long as the head is still on the motor.

if your even the least bit uncomfortable drilliing into this bolt remove the head and have it machined out. youll be pissed if you misdrill it and wind up screwing your head and have to heli coil it

Pulling the head is your only option. No way are you going to get a drill back there.

I know I know....its easy to think that way.....you have to realize that I WASN'T in the market for some new heads when I started this header install. Now I'm looking into new heads.......jeesh! Very exciting yet very depressing how much money I am going to spend b/c of a little screw up!!!

Well now I guess that the car is up on jackstands for a little while longer....

Guess I caught that damn modding bug that has been going around this winter....

You could JB weld the broken part to the part that snapped off (making sure you don't get it on anything other than the bolt) leave it over night and try to get it off that way.

well i would go to an industial supply place and look for tight fiting right angle drill head and an easy out. ur local machine shop might know where to look. just make sure u use plenty of cutting fluid when drilling.
