SS autochrome (ebay) Y pipe Well I finished installing the e-bay headers last night. Took me 4 1/2 hours by myself. It was a much easier install than I thought it would be. Hell the hardest part for me was the #8 plug and wire. The only fitment issue I had was the Kmember was just touching a little. I took a torch and bent the lip in/up about 1/4 of an inch and its good to go.
As far as the y-pipe for these I made a custom one from 2 high flow cats and an elderbrock 3" y-pipe. The y pipe was not even close to fitting but I did not care, all I wanted was the 3" pipe with bends that were close. Took me about 4 hours to fab up this and install it. Its not perfect but I guess for the $199 I have invested in that pipe, cats, and clamps, I cant go wrong.
Here are a few pics, and my welding is by no means pretty, but it gets the job done. I was actually sick of working on this. Some day I will grind this down, paint it, and have it tucked up a little better.

I knew that I would be cutting up the Y to put the cats in so I wanted to get the cheapest one I could find. If I did not want cats, I would have went with the jet hots for a direct bolt up.
Yes it was a gas less mig. Some time in the future I will tuck it up a little further and clean all those welds down and paint it. Driven it for 2 days now and has not scraped at all.

Yes, they are catco's. I got them withthe air tube because they were the cheapest ones I could find. I put them in to keep the gas smell down a little and to cut back on the noise. At idle and cruse it is fairly mello. At WOT it friggen screams. I like!
