K&N FIPK on an SS...?

K&N FIPK on an SS...? I got a K&N FIPK for a real good price and I have an SLP smooth lid on my Camaro right now. I have an SS hood, so would it be a bad idea to put the FIPK on w/ the SS hood?

I can see **** get sucked under the cowl when im goin over 20ish. Leaves, pineneedles, papers, you name it iv seen it. Just sucks because you gotta clean it often. When im at idle, I can see it breathing on the windsheild if its cold out.
