I'm looking at mine, and I can't see why not. As far as the foam, it got me to thinking. Most of the intakes I have removed have been full of debris, and I was considering using a strip of foam to "seal" the front of the intake. Can anyone see a reason why that might be a bad idea?

I ground all of mine off a year and 30 or 40K miles ago and it's still fine.

Just like Unforgiven has done. I also did the Hammer/Chisel method. It took me about an hour to grind two rows of fins. Then tried the hammer...... I did the WHOLE intake in less than ten minutes and looked alot smoother

Bringing this back from the dead as the pictures were super helpful for me today. I decided to give the hammer and large flathead screwdriver a go and it worked great. Just need to sand some of the rough edges down and then give the intake a bath and it'll be ready to go.
