i put ac platinums in the car doing the LT install, and it ran like ***. same thing with my dad's 4.8. then i went with V power TR55's and bam! both engines ran like charms. great paying only $2 for each plug than $75 for all 8 AC plugs.

TR55's. Its a waste of money paying more for the others and they run hotter and wear out faster. Hell I run none platinum autolites in my setup. The AC Delco's little puck goes flying somewhere within 1,000 miles. And they cost too damn much. Why spend more money if you do not have too. I would run the TR55's too if i could get them locally, is normally what I run. To much of a PITA to change out the plugs too often.

i put the AC iridiums in my ws6 and it instantly had a miss. checked all the plugs thinking i somehow cracked one. Wish I had a pic but the porcelin around the tip of the electrode was lose...it would slide up and down on the electrode. they replaced the plug and then i had no problems with them at all...just sucked that i got a broked $9 plug straight from the factory.

I broke two in a row on the same cylinder. Couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. It was because of the pressure the extension made on the header. Switched to a wobble extension; no more problems. This was years ago. I've destroyed a lot of things over the last 6 or 8 years.

I was watching horsepower tv and they put in a set of E3 spark plugs and they said they saw a small gain in hp and they had better gas mileage. not sure about the price tag or how true it is but you might want to look into it if you do let us know how they look.
