Default Stage 8 locking header bolts, like or dislike?

I just ordered a set due to stripping a few oem bolts. Damn some of these bolts were tight as *&%$. Thank god I got them out. My question is how did you all like or dislike these?

+1 i did not use the locks but other than that they worked great and look nice on my kooks. If you have extra money i would get the arp but there is nothing wrong with the stage 8 especially for less than half the price.

Only reason I don't like 'em is because I don't have an 11mm gear wrench lol. I installed them in my friends car, but didn't put the locks on. They look nice, but aren't really needed.

dont mean to hijack the thread but i've been given many different stories as to what i should do when i install the LTs on my 02 GMC. Some have told me to use OEM LS1 bolts, some have told me that my stock bolts w/ lock washers will be fine, and now I see these stage 8's. What would you guys recommend?

I've used the Stage 8 bolts with the locks on several cars. They work great. Don't put the locks on until you've gone through a couple of heating cycles and re-tightened the bolts. Then you can put the locks and clips on and the bolts won't back out. I ended up grinding down the edges on a couple of the locks because it all depends on the position of the bolt on where the lock will seat itself.
