yea tonight i got the optima red top... How did you guys get it back in to fit? mine seems that it does not want to sit where the bracket holds it in place. Moves around a bit. any ideas?

BTW i got 75/35

720 CCA and 910 CA

well see how it starts tomorrow. low is supposed to be -3. i ahve to drive the trans am so that i can change the oil..

Should fit perfectly - unscrew the bolt and take the hold down out if you have to - position the battery making sure its seated correctly and level - then reinstall. Shouldn't move around at all. Don't overrtighten the bolt, it screws into plastic. No telling how long it's been on the shelf, I'd start the car and let the alt fully charge it - 3 below is awfully cold.

Mine fits perfect after removing and re-screwing that bolt/tie-down, but then again, the front lip from my battery tie down has been MIA since I bought the car lol.

yea mine moves around a bit. When looking at the battery, it will not fit under the lip that the try has in the back. And the bolt that holds the plactic peice down, that is ok.. seems that it doesnt sit right. not rocket science on how to install a battery
