Default Stupid NEWBIE QUESTION!!!!

I have in my room a set of kooks headers, catted y-pipe and all of the gaskets, bolts, clamps needed for the install. and everyone tells me that i will need 2 o2 sensors (bosch) needed for the holes on the collectors. but would't i need 4 because behind the catts there are also 2 more holes? they are like $90 a pice, and i dont know about spending $360 on o2 sensors. i was thinking about o2 extensions but ive heard rumors that they get moister in them and that there not that reliable, is this true? what do you guys recomend? THANKS!!!!!!

Dont even need to use the rear 02s, they will throw a code until you get them programmed out. The fronts you can use extensions, I used two 24s, some use a 12 and a 24, and most just use the Bosch 13111 sensors, no need for extensions, far as I'm told. Just get some plugs for the rear holes and save yourself some trouble if you want.

ok, so let me see if i got this right, the important sensors are the fronts. you dont need the backs since thell be programd out. and i could just buy some plugs for the rear sensrors is all this correct?

you could just put in the old rear 02 and leave them disconnected. Thats what I did and it worked fine. Pretty much any of the sponsors can sell you a set of O2 extensions for pretty cheap.

If you can't find plugs (found at a plumbing store IIRC, since they are BIG), just put the 02s in but leave disconnected. Yes the front ones are what's important, and where the computer reads from to adjust A/F.

fastss, you are correct
