Loudmouth clearance

Default Loudmouth clearance

hey guys, I'm thinking about getting loudmouth with my headers, but I dont know about the clearance. I have a buddy with pacesetter LTs and loudmouth, and he has 18' rims with the stock springs, so it sits slightly higher than with the stock 16's. I have another buddy with pacesetter LT's, a cutout, and a hooker catback. his car is on 17's and is dropped 1.2 inches front and back, but his exhaust scrapes just as much or maybe less than the other guys car. so i guess my question is: does slp loudmouth have clearance issues like their headers do? my car is still on stock rims with stock springs, but I plan on lowering it in the future and dont want shitty clearance.

I only seem to have trouble on the bigger than normal speed bumps. Other than that no problems here and I'm lowered with hotchkis springs (little more than 1"). If anything the LTs will be the cause of the clearance issues not the loudmouth. The resonator is a little bigger though and that's what tends to scrape a bit on the speed bumps.

I'd look into that setup a bit more. Most people with LTs don't recommend it.

Yeah. just avoid speedbumps and pay attention to intersections. It isnt as bad as you think it is really.

The LM is one of the tightest fitting set ups I would say. I've scraped my ory a few times but thats about it.

I scraped mine 2 or 3 times. My current setup has never scraped. Thought that was weird being 2 times the number of pipes hanging under the car.

Yea, I have the LM II on a stock y pipe and exhaust manifold, no problems here. I am at roughly stock ride height. The only time I crunched up the exhaust was when turning around in some guy's driveway only to find there was a huge hump at his entrance and that was bad enough to even scratch the brace near the tailshaft of the tranny
