Yeah I know what you are saying Jason but I dont have the tools or know how to fabricate a TB cam. It would be nice though. Both have traction and cruise control btw.

I noticed what you are talking about with the majority of the control at the first 30% of throttle, and 50% to 100% throttle there is not much of a difference. I just think that the quick response made up for it. It is just about preference I guess. Snow here in Missouri has delayed my swap but I will do it here real soon.

No, I've been lazy the past couple weeks and haven't done any. I've got 2 stockers sittin' in my garage waiting for me to do the work. I usually do it on Sat or Sun and it's about 4 hours to do one.

If you swap the TCS motor along with the cable from there to the TB it my work. Look at the TCS motors under the cover. See if their cam profiles are different. If so, then you may be in business.

There is a chance you may have to swap the cable from the TCS motor to the cruise control module if they are also a different legnth, but I can't confirm anything yet.

If shortening the cable in your car gets her TB to work in it what do you plan on doing with her car to get your TB to work in it, the throttle linkage is too big for her car, your TB wont work in hers, her cable will be too short, I tried to put a ported tb from 01 car on my 99 and I ended up having to put the cam(throttle linkage) from my 99 tb into the 01 tb to make it work with my car. Either way, best of luck. I think you would be better off just porting your stock TB.

I have ported my stock 02' TB myself, my mom's still feels better. I will try just swapping the cable from the traction control to the TB between the cars and see if that works.

Jason I will check the TCS motors but I dont think it would need to be any different to accommodate the different TB's. I think the only difference is the length of the cables from the TCS to the TB.

I should be able to do the swap tomorrow.
