and for you to come on here and tell people they are stupid and do not belong in an fbody is just asinine...go **** yourself and your 18 posts

i dont have a problem with people expressing their opinions, but when they do it in a demeaning derogatory manner thats just unacceptable to me...

so try not to be such a douche next time

^^^ Kind of what I was thinking. I've got a 12-bolt but am possibly switching to a 9". As I stated in the other thread, I've been having problems with either an electrical connection or a wheel sensor, or maybe even my TCS or ABS units are bad, but it seems like its worst after washing the car which leads me to believe its a wheel sensor. Anyways, I'm already having issues with it, and I don't feel like fixing it since I'll never use it again, so I may as well rip it out. The other huge reason is how much of a difference it makes on that side of the engine bay just by getting rid of the extra cables. Today I finally bent my nitrous solenoid bracket around and now my nitrous and purge solenoids look like they were installed there by the factory. I'll have to get a picture up once I finish cleaning up a few more things under the hood.

So you can keep on thinking I'm stupid and childish for removing my TCS system. It'll make my engine bay look cleaner, and its one less thing I need to worry about every time I restart the car at the track, or whenever else. I could just imagine the awesome fun I'd have beating the hell out of myself when I forgot to turn it off that one time I decided to spray and the tires broke loose at the top of 1st or 2nd and started reducing engine power while spraying..

It was an option on every year LS1 F-body, and I know at least the later LT1 cars had the option available as well.

I love the TCS. It's saved my *** more than once in the rain. But to each their own. It's your car, I say do whatever makes you happy.

that is one of the most redicuous things i have ever read. IF you have ever driven an F-body in the snow, or do a lot of hard driving, traction control is the biggest pain in the ***. I wish my car would have came without it. Plus like everyone else says, it looks nasty under the hood. Being that only about half the F-bodies came with TCS i dont think its a stoopid idea to take it off. People that come into posts saying the **** that you say are the people that do not deserve F-bodies. Everyone has different needs for their cars, but dont have such strong opinions on something you apparently know nothing about... Just my $.02

Sorry i borught this thread back up lol

If the vehicle is equipped with ABS, you cannot legally delete it and pass inspections in the U.S. or CANADA.

As I recall, if any of you plan on adding a line lock at some time in the future, your ABS will go away anyway.
