Default $200 for header and ypipe install..or do it myself?

I found a good place that will do it for $200... seems pretty cheap...and would save some headaches...but i'd like to do it myself. I have access to a lift. suggestions?

If you have the cash $200 is a great price but if you have access to a lift that makes things much easier. I had some help doing mine on a lift and we had everything off and started the car with LT's and catted Y in 4 1/2 hours.

i paid 250 on mine, but i got them to install it and weld it all, kind of a shitty place to go, he didnt use the right bolts for the headers(its the reason why i have a boost leak), but it worked when i was N/A though, car still sounded and performed good

It might be a pain in the *** getting them off since they are 9 year old bolts and such, so you might want to let the shop do it for 200. I had my friend put on my cutout but now my exhaust tips hang low, so I'll probably always go to a shop from now on.

Considering you have lift access, I'd do it myself. Should be pretty easy with her up it the air. Plus, and this is my personal preference because I'm **** about my car, I dont want anyone else working on it, even if they are supposedly qualified to do the work.

Do it yourself and save the 200 for more mods, Its not that hard. Once you get it done you will be happy because of the money you saved.

if you have time and the proper place to do it then try it yourself. If you don't have the time, but have the money just let them do it. 200 is a very good price.

Hey unless you have your own rack I would pay the $200. It was hard enough for me to get mine on with the heads off, I just cant imagine how hard they would be with the heads on
