Need Guage help!
Alright, I was working on my fiancee's '03 Stratus and was taking out the instrument gauges to replace a broken finger on the tach gauge and now the tach won't read properly. I took the instrument panel out and popped off the fuel gauge finger and the tach finger and now neither will work right, the tach is automatically popping up to 1,500 rpm's before the car is even started and then when I start it, it reads that the idle is at 2,500 rpm's which I know's not right, it's suppost to be about 800-1000 rpm's. The fuel gauge is reading 1/4 tank which I know it has almost 1/2 tank but it won't move either. I tried disconnecting the battery and thought that might reset them but it didn't work. When I hit the gas the tach still responds properly just not starting at the correct rpm's? Any help would be appreciated because she needs the car back soon.
Thanks guys
