If you hook and weather permiting, you should be in the 12's. A good set of tires is crucial for faster slips. 1.6~1.7 second 60-foot times should be your focus. The rest will come naturally if the car is working right (right AFR and spark advance in the tune w/ no knock retard).

you should be pretty quick with a stall like that. all the LS1's i've seen with any kind of decent stall get in the 12's easy.

goodluck

Why are you getting the SLP MAF and Bellow? I would think after reading a lot on here, you'd realize those are pointless mods to make. Bellow = 0 HP gain and is likely to crack your lid. SLP MAF = 0 HP gain and the stock MAF is good up to 500 HP, so why toss out hundreds of dollars on it? Just trying to help save you a bit of money.

I personally would pick the professional products manifold over the LS6. They are about the same price yet the Typhoon is rated 15 rwhp over the FAST 90 which is rated at 15rwhp over the LS6.

Don't bother with an overdrive pulley for your alternator unless you are running a big stereo setup.

NO ls1 should throw 14's down!!!! thats absurd. I went 12.7 my first time out to the track in my last t/a with a m6 and i had no traction and missed 2nd!!!!!

not everyone goes 12.7's stock.

I also agree, with 2.73's lid and cutout i went 13.7@102

With 2.73s lid and catback only I managed a 13.2 @ 106 with a 2.0 60' on street tires. Something is wrong if he didn't break into the 100s.

I ran 14.1 when I was riding with my 350 lb friend before my tune. You definitely should be much faster than that. Look at my sig. That is with 2.73s and a 1.9 60ft on worn street tires.

Yeah my car is a true ws.6 so it has the 3.23 gears an SLP air lid, 85mm maf, smooth bellow, flowmaster exhaust, and a 3 in cutout!!!! It is slow the only thing i can think it would be is maybe the elevation??? I ran it at lubbock dragway which is far from sea level!!!! And what is the !drive mod?? Also i have raced two f bodies since all the mods in my sig. Both were camaros one was an M6 35th anniversay SS with a lid, clutch, short shifter, and 4.10 gears!!! on a 30 roll he was about 4-5 lengths ahead by 100mph?????? The second was an M6 98 Z28 with a K&N FIPK, some cheat chip thing, and a true, true dual exhaust from the cats all the way out, with and H-pipe and flowmaster mufflers i think!! Same 30 roll but at 100mph he was about 5-6 lengths ahead!!! Does anyone know wats wrong???? Is it cause they are M6s and im an A4 or are camaros just that damn fast or is my car slow or something wrong with it???? Or are those guys just lying to me bout their mods??? Thanks again guys!!!!
