slp headers dont fit convertibles ?
the slp headers hang way too low and are a bitch to install. for the price they aren't worth half the trouble to install them. go with some pacesetters and save some money for your next mod!!!
No headers (Y) fit a convertible, at least not before
you remove the "X" stamping behind the trans cross-
member.
Even the stock-logs-and-cats SLP Y needs a good
beating (both the pipe and the brace) to not bang.
Then there are the couple of sheet metal add-ons
that further cost clearance.
But SLP are considered about the worst fitting out
there so wait for something better, equally cheap.

i just put qtp lt's on my 00 ws6 vert and i love them. If your looking for the best as in fit and long lasting and tuned for scavenging then qtp or kooks is the way to go. Pricey but can find deal here in the for sale section.
