Wanted New Headers, what to buy? Kooks Stainless?
Currently I have an FLP LT setup, which has no coating left and too close to the ground.
I want my new system to be Stainless Steel, as tight as possible (clearance issues) and yet still gotto be LT's not Mids.
So far I have been told that the Kooks is my best bet. What do you think?
Thanks in advance

I just found edelbrocks for nasty cheap on summitracing. They are racing style so there is no Y pipe for it which I can get my friend to build one.
EDL-65703
This is the part number, but as always ground clearance scares me
Does anybody have these LT's? any comments on them?

I had edelbrocks on my vert with the y-pipe from edelbrock and magnoflow bullet cats. Without the cats they had decent ground clearance on a lowered car. With cats I lost some of that but still wasn't bad. Not as good as Kooks though. On a lowered daily driver kooks are hard to beat. I'm going through the same questions now I've had both kooks and edelbrocks I might give the AR headers a try.

They have a Y pipe for that racing setup? Here is the link to Edelbrocks.

What are you looking for exactly? They are a great deal, I don't see why everyone is on the pacesetter bandwagon with these available. they are not stainless and they don't tuck up as well as Kooks but they don't hang down bad either, it is only the drivers side collector that is a little low.
They are great quality, great welds and fitment. if I didn't need cats I'd probably go with them even though my car is pretty low....
Kooks are better but they cost twice as much and if you figure the stepped setups are a 100 bucks more the edelbrocks are a great value!
Really can't go wrong with either, but its hard to give you a good answer because you start out with a 1200 stainless header then go to a 500 setup still hi tech coated.
I would not do the race setup of edelbrocks since people have had issues with the collectors leaking but I guess if you can get them welded up it shouldn't be an issue...
