BBK VS. Fast 90/90 setup
Im trying to get by without spending a lot of cash. BBK throttle body 80MM and intake manifold 85MM supposedly 15% more airflow than an LS6 intake, found this setup will cost 700 bucks. Or should i go with Fast 90/90 setup that costs 1,350. haven't heard much about BBK, but a lot about Fast LSX. Is the 90/90 setup that much better that it compensates for the extra 650 bucks? Currently i have stock LS1 intake.

The FAST setup is the best intake out there for us short of a sheet metal setup. With it's 3-piece design, it is easy to port, but even unported, it outflows the BBK.
With that said, the BBK is a nice intake. It should not be compared to the FAST intake. It should be compared to the LS6. And unfortunately for us, no one has compared this intake to anyone else's intake.
With your power numbers, I would recommend either the LS6 or BBK, unless you plan on really upping the power (Stroker, FI, radical H/C setup). If you're doing bolt-ons and a mild H/C package the, LS6 or BBK is for you.
I see in your sig you have the TRAK cam. Your car needs some tuning, as 330 is low for a bolt on only car, let alone a cammed car. Not saying anything bad about your car, just saying a tune will help you immensely.

well supposedly the low dyno numbers are from the restrictive LS1 intake it's suffocating my cam and not letting it breathe properly, i didn't have my lid on it either and smaller air filter too was on when dynoed. plus everyone says that i need heavier valve springs.
