Default TSP True Duals questions inside

hey guys, my TSP TD's are on the way, from what i understand they are not stainless, aluminized or coated in any way. my questions are:
1. this is going on my DD, so has anyone had any problems with them rusting under normal conditions (rain, snow....)?
2. what would be good to use to paint/coat them with to keep them from rusting? im not trying to break the bank with this either or i would send them off to Jet-Hot and have them coated. i thought about POR-15 but that **** is expensive. maby just a high temperatrure engine enamal? idk..........

Mine haven't rusted. My car gets to see everything too. Rain, snow, salt, etc.

Mine don't see snow, but haven't rusted too bad. Now my pacesetters ....they have a little more rust than the duals.

I'm the opposite... I've seen rain, snow, salt, kitchen sink, etc... Mufflers have some brown surface rust ****, everything else looks absolutely fine.

I'm pretty sure the piping is aluminized but the mufflers are not. The whole system is welded together then painted silver. All of my piping still looks silver but the mufflers are totally surface rusted. Enough por-15 to just paint them wouldnt be too much. They will still rust from the inside out though.

They are aluminized. You could always hit them with some VHT Flameproof from Autozone too.
