Header install

How long is it taking to install headers on 4th Gen F-bodys?

what kind of headers.. shorty, mid, LT... and what brand.. slp, pacesetter, kooks ect..

on average it takes about 6-8 hours with no help.. thats with the car on jackstands and never doing headers on an fbody before... with a lift knock 2 hours off.. and after you do them once, you will be able to do it again in half the time... an extra set of hands is always a big help too...

I did my first LT install on mine in about 14 hrs. On ramps and jack stands..

SLP LT's should explain the time..

Took me about 2 hours total to put in my Kooks LTs and ORY...never thought they'd go in that easy, but they did...

Of course I already had the car up in the air too...

Dynatech LT's go in easy, its just the removeal of the stock, tight exhaust setup, the bolt alone take fffffooooorrrrreeeevvvveeerrrrr. Aside from the oil filter and drain plig, went it very easy!
