Brown Truck delivered by Bassani Dual Exhaust
For almost a year I flip-flopped on what I was going to do w/ my exhaust. Since the LG dual system for F-bodies is still not out, that narrowed my options. Well, I found what I thought could turn out to be a smoking deal on a stainless Bassani dual system (5798RS5). I was a little leery because the vendor (non-sponsor) had mixed reviews. The advertised price minus promotional discounts was hard to pass up, though. I took a chance. Well, it arrived today; nothing appears to be wrong with the system; and my credit card was properly billed. !SCORE!

Looks good except for that X or H pipe section. It looks like that might disrupt the flow a little without giving a true crossover. But yeah, we'd still like to know how it sounds and feels after you get it installed.

Just out of curiosity, do you think the common crossover shops make by splicing two 2.5” elbows together would flow better than the Bassani crossover? With the spliced crossovers, there is a slight constriction at the middle of the crossover. With the Bassani, the cross sectional area at this point is actually greater than the sum of the two legs. Shape is different, though. I doubt I would see much difference with either.

I'll be considering the Bassani Dual Exhuast after I finish my suspension mods and buy corbeau seats. If LG doesnt have there Dual Exhuast out by then I'll be getting the Bassani.
