I have an SLP one, but didn't pay SLP pricing! Fitment is great, and it doesn't look out of place.

Any hump hose that will hold alot of boost is going to be enough for an N/A or N2O car. The fitiment is the key as many have said. Personally I think most of the Gen III/IV parts are outrageously priced. (Thanks for the L92/L76 GMPP!) You can find silicone hoses for less than $35.

Does the stock one allow one to aim a nozzle easily?

What nozzle? IF your looking to put a wet kit nozzle into the stock bellows think again. Its like a half a millimeter thick.

Now after adding my plate system from Dave I've had to trim the SLP bellow to the point where its just the hump. Not sure I'm sealing good or not so I'm looking for where I put my stocker.

I have the fernco, never had and issue.

I could not see spending $40+ on a bellow that claims to be smoother then the factory accordion one, yet it still has a huge rib in the middle.

for $3, the fernco can be cut to fit and is smooth no ribs

Yeah man that's what I was thinking. I'm looking for a solution to my bellows. I have one that is straight (actually it's pot-bellied if that makes sense), and it holds the nozzle, but it barely clamps onto the TB and MAF. Is a Fernco long enough to clamp on easily? Or what about turbo style silicone couplers/tubing?

The ferno comes in different lengths I think and I've seen silicone all over the net but its minimum on 35 delivered.

poly motor mounts are needed with everything stock, the stock rubbers allow to much movement for comfort. these are performance cars and the engine shouldnt be rocking all over the place.

poly engine and tranny mounts ???!

the airflo i have in the picture I had to trim alot, but I really like it since its smooth of course and plus that hump it has alows for movement plus it matches the humps on the intake manifold

yes i know my engine bay is a beast

What doesn't make sense to me is the fact that there isn't any good aftermarket coverage for a 90/90 setup, as far as the intake path goes, considering the popularity of the FAST 90/90. There's the 85mm MAF from SLP, which is sufficient I guess, but no larger than stock lid to complement it now that TSP no longer makes an 85mm lid. Seems like there would be a large market for an intake solution 85mm-90mm to match a 90/90 setup. Please, feel free to clue me in if I'm overlooking any existing products!

Personally, there was no way I was going to leave the stock sized lid and intake tubing in front of my Fast 90/90. What I ended up doing was cutting the back off of my TSP lid and fiberglassing it onto a 4" section of PVC pipe. Since I run SD anyway I removed the MAF entirely and used a 4" to 4" Fernco coupler to mate the modified lid to the 90mm TB. I also clearanced the top of the radiator support/fan shroud a bit to tuck the 4" PVC pipe nice and tight and get as straight a shot as possible at the TB.

It fits great, and doesn't look too bad IMO. Eventually I'll get around to using some filler to smooth out the fiberglass on the modified lid and get it painted so it looks a bit more professional. As far as performance goes, I can say it definitely gained some throttle response over the un-modified TSP lid/MAF/Bellows that was on there originally. No dyno numbers for a before and after comparo yet, but I'd like to do one in the future to see if there are any real gains to be had above the increased throttle response.

I'm satisfied with my custom solution, but that being said I'd purchase an actual 90mm lid in a heartbeat to replace it.

What was the reason TSP stopped offering their 85mm lid in the first place?

You can buy the fernco piece at Lowes/Home Depot for $5. No need to waste $40 on a piece of rubber. Just trim it a little bit (take your time), soak it in boiling water, use some lube and it will be fine.

$10 for one in your choice of black, red, or blue in the link I posted above and it doesn't look like it should be hooked up to your plumbing either..
