Smooth Bellows instead of Fernco
The question is would you use a smooth bellow instead of the Fernco if it was $40 instead of $50-$65?
The fernco isnt the best option for, if a better option was presented, similar to SLP's bellow, would you buy it instead using a fernco or other plumbing part not really meant for induction?

Can you put a shark nozzle in Fernco? What about cracking your lid? I see the Fernco as a cheap alternative but it is an inferior product as far as the purpose goes. Not looking to argue wth anyone here just doing some market research. Looking for answers and thoughts on all aspects of the bellow.
The fernco being un-reinforced rubber could be succeptable to collapse under hot conditions but has it? OR does it just narrow up a bit and restrict?
I'm seriously curious as to it's efficiency under heat and load.

I would still buy an slp bellow for the TB to maf. I still have mine since I got the slp flow-pac and it's still in good shape even on my NW 90mm TB.
I have a fernco for my volant cai to maf and its holding up, though I did have to heat it up to fit over both.

You've got alot of combos out there (TB's LID's MAF/!MAF) and having an option for each would give you an edge.
There are $30~ish alternatives (silicone hose products) that offer similar solutions, but I think the hump in the SLP one would provide for the flexibility for motor movement that others cannot.
Make a model that takes all that into account and costs around 35~40 and I don't see why it wouldn't sell.

Home Depot racing is fine and dandy for most people...I usually spend a bit more to get a little higher quality in fit and finish.
