Default Best sounding catback w/ORY is now the best looking too!

IMO, the SLP Dual Dual exhaust is the best sounding exhaust when running an off road y-pipe. Just listen to the sound clip in my signature and see if you agree. But the tips on the Dual Dual are not very exciting.

Thanks to a buddy who had a B&B Tri-Flo exhaust with a busted internal baffle, I was able to buy his entire catback for $100. In case you haven't seen the B&B quad tips in the rear valence of a Trans Am, they are absolutely badass. After adding the B&B Tri-Flo tips to the SLP Dual Dual, I can honestly say I have tops in both sound and looks (all this in my opinion of course).

Cop Magnet.

Corsa fan here, at least I stand a chance at a stop of not having a cop looking over at my car.

Does sound good though, thats why they make at least 12 different cat back combo's

how is an slp dual dual a cop magnet?

they are one of the quietest cat-backs on the market

Patrick the back of the T.A looks very nice and clean.
how well SLP dual-dual flow? do you need cutout if you running big cam and head?

i agree with JDP quietest cat-backs on the market Slp dual and the loudest is Corsa

I'm pretty picky, so I listened to every sound clip on ls1sounds like 20 times.

If I were going ORY instead of duals, there is no question that I'd get a Dual/Dual. They have less rasp with an ORY than many catbacks have with CATS.

Those tips do look badass on there. I'm still rocking the slp d/d but sometimes I think big single ole slash tips would look better on the Camaro

do you have the whole catback or just the muffler? Im doing afr 205/224/228 combo and im using longtubes/ORY and stock exhaust with the slp dual dual muffler. Do you think thats gonna be restrictive since ill just have the muffler and not the 3inch piping?

Never gotten trouble with the cops. In fact, there's not a quiter catback on the market that flows as much than the SLP Dual Dual. It is far from a cop magnet and does not draw glares from the inspection police. The sound clip accentuates the sound, but honestly, you'd be hard pressed to have anything quieter with no cats.

The dual dual has virtually no hp loss up to 425 rwhp. At 475 rwhp, I only lose 8 rwhp by closing the cutout. That's pretty high flowing in my experience.

These are fairly new, but intercooled stainless magna tips I think might just be a little better....well for the t/a's for sure and I really like mine on the camaro. But you're right, its all opinion. Looks nice.

When I get back to the house i will post a pic of how they looked on my Camaro. I liked the sound of Tri-low, but the dualdual sounds good too. I don't like the raspy tone of some of the other exhaust with no cats and ORY.

I definetly like the way they dressed up the bird Patrick.

Here's the best pic I could find, and they were dirty before Patrick spent some time to clean them up.
