Default 420 HP After tune What NEXT??

As you can see my mods in sig. Also LS6 intake was done. After taking the car to Kennedy's Dynotune in Niagara Falls (excellent place), and making some adjustments she pulled 420hp. Pretty respectable. The prblem is i was really hoping for 450. Any ideas? I know i could put a nice 75 bottle on there and call it good but i want to stay away from the gas if possible.

Since you want to stay away from nitrous...maybe bump the cam up to something a little more agressive...What is your H/C combo right now?

Agreed, might want a more agressive cam there.

I don't see pullies or ewp on your list. what's your exhaust setup? 420 through a heads/cam auto isn't too shabby.

90/90 for a grand and sell your LS6 and TB for around 400.

Last two posts were a good idea I didn't think of. Pully, 90/90 setup, a bump up in cam, and a good tune and you'll most likely exceed your HP goal.

I can't remember the specs of the cam off the top of my head, i know it is a mild cam so as to save a little engine life. The heads are 1.60-2.02, with longtubes and 3" y with no cats that go into a flowmaster catback. If i get rid of the flowmaster is there another muffler out there that flows better+has better sound?

Unless its a really small cam in there right now I dont think you would see too much from putting a bigger one in there.

420 is not bad at all with an automatic. It probably is 450+ with an M6.

People get too caught up in peak power numbers. Worry about having good power under the curve.

Easiest (but not cheapest) way to 30 more RWHP is a 90/90, EWP, UD pulley, and a cutout. I bet you hit 450 RWHP at a minimum although it'll cost around $1500.

A dyno is just a measurement.. and you really need to continuep tuning on the same one or you are throwing darts in the dark. Different brands will have numbers 30-40hp off each other. Waht kind of dyno was it?

And why did you go to Kennedys? Your from Rochester and New Era Performance is right there with a dyno, plus they have cheaper rates then Kennedys in Nia Falls and are a sponsor on here. Im just a little confused...

I had a bad experience at New Era, i don't want to go smearing names on here so i will leave it at that. Also Kennedy's has been in the business for a long time. If you guys are thinking bout putting turbo's or chargers on your cars give them a call thay know their **** there. Check out their website and look at some of the cars at that place. It is a dynojet chassis dyno.

420 is definitely a good # with an auto. I made 414rwhp with a loose yank pt4000 na converter at 6100rpm. If you get that car to hook as it sits your going to be looking at some pretty interesting ET's and the 6spd guys will be pissed
