Hedman X pipe & true duals are on!! (pic's)
The first shop I went to looked really puzzled for about 10 min and finally said he could do it. Then I asked how long, "day or two" , then I asked how much, "couple hundred" . I didn't say anything after that, I just walked off.
I was then referred by a member of the NorCal-Ls1 crew (Black Magic)..he said to check out Oakley Mufflers. I went there and set everything up, they said "no problem". Total cost was $150.
I bought the X pipe from Jegs, http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...435&prmenbr=76 .
She now has a deeeep rumble @ cruise & screams @ WOT. Just the way I want it!! I am totally satisfied with this setup and highly recommend it. Just remember before I had a LOUDMOUTH w/ Dynomax bullets in the Y, so, I'm used to loud.
Performance, she's really torquey *spelling* off the line and @ cruise and really opens up on the freeway w/ very good throttle response.
Before & After pic's are in sig. I also snapped a pic of a Flowmaster Muffler, IMO it looks very restrictive.
Peace
WOW!!!! Bet she Sounds like JOHN FORCE! Got a question though. How do your tail pipes look? Two 3"'s on the right, or were you able to keep the Quad flow gimmic? and How?

http://community.webshots.com/photo/...33886249tamcBI

Looks good! I have one question.....I have a 3rd Gen, why does it look like there is 10 times more room under LS1 cars for exhaust than my car? I managed to run true duals w/ an "H" on my car, I used oval exhaust tubing for ground clearance.

their floorpans are designed different then ours and allows them more room
Believe it or not, its not all that loud, I think it maybe a little tamer than the LM. It has more of a controlled sound. It really rumbles..sounds like I have a cam, but I didn't get my Hammer installed yet
. I think I'll try and get a spot on the dyno this weekend. I'll keep you guys updated.
