How much rwhp will 38# injectors support?
Specifically what have we seen the Vortech kit 38#'s support up to?
thanks!
my answer is not enough if this means youre putting a Vortech on the Camaro. go with 42.5's with heads/cam and all that.

I ran 42's on an LT1 Vortech car that I had, if was going to step up with this one I'd go a tad larger.
I'm doing a bunch of reserch for a buddy of mine with a possible combination like that (blower plus low cr), he doesn't get online much.
also....with a non-aftercooled model, whatever pulley that will get you to 60000-62000rpm, headers/offroad, 9:1, stock CC heads, and stock cam....would you see ~8 pounds or more?

44lb/hr will take you up to the 510-540 range.
Again, it is all very dependant on your BSFC. What hp goals are being sought?
Chris
And FI application is going to have larger numbers just because of the way it works - so the same fuel flow on a NA motor will support less power on a FI motor, etc.
If the vortech 38's are rated at 43.5 psi you will be fine at the 500rwhp level, but will have virtually no headroom. I would consider the SVO 42's. You will also need to address the fuel system.

<strong>It depends on BSFC - for a blower type setup 38lb/hr of flow will get you pretty close to 500rwhp - I would say 470 or so with a safety margin.

I think they are looking for 500+rwhp on 92/93 octane.

John we have something in common, we actually talked on the phone a year or two ago - there is a common person that screwed both of us over very badly. Anyway, hope things are going good for you, thanks for the numbers again.
