Borla-Mouth here!

Clean, very very lite compared to other cat-backs and one of the best flowing cat-backs:

...with a pretty small cam (244/244) for my 427, and 1-3/4" FLP headers this Borla-Mouth through the tips with a 12-bolt I made 545rwhp. No cut-out required here.

Also did I mention it was very very very lite. lol When I shipped my dual-dual (SLP lol) to a buyer in Austin it weighed 70lbs in a box. I think when I got my Loudmouth it was right around 10lbs in a box, Borla XR-1 3-1/2" was around 5lbs. So almost 5 times less weight then dual-dual, and the same or close to any other cat-back. Not soo much GMMG though.

Peace,
Craig.

I have the LM 1 dual/dual and I love it. I have Mac mid tubes so I dont get the raspyness at WOT. Its loud driving down the highway but that I dont mind since I love a loud exhaust anyway. I would like to one day take them off and just do a before the axle dump.

LM1 here. Great quality exhaust, and i loved the sound with stock manifolds and y pipe. it fit really nicely, and was an overall great quality exhaust. Only complaints were a loud drone at highway speeds, and no muffler so with LT's and ORY it was a no go.

LM1 w/ QTP LTs and QTP Catted Y
The quality is top notch and it sounds great when going through the gears but there's drone at cruising speeds.

I have had LM1 and dual dual exhaust. The LM1 had an awesome WOT sound but interior drone at cruise was unbearable. Build quality was good, but I dont like the single rolled tips. It was priced right however.

Dual dual is an overall great exhaust. Most say it flows as good as any out there, and this was backed up by my SS putting down 423 rwhp cam-only. Sound wise it is on the quite side, but is still loud enough to hear it at WOT. Also, build quality is top notch.

I have had the LM1 on my stock manifolds and stock cat'd Y for over 4 years. Sounds fantastic and the drone never really got to me. (or the wife and daughter) I will be adding ARH LTs and cat'd Y shortly and considering going LM2, magnamouth, or dynomouth to be safe...

Just recently put the lm1 on my car and it sounds sick. It's loud enough around where I'm at, it scares the neighborhood little kids when I start it. Headers will be stupid loud.

I installed my LM1 at a friends along with Hooker 1 3/4 LT's and a Hooker ORY. He lives by a cemetery; I swear, when we started it, the dead awoke...

I didnt like the clamps. They are not removal friendly. It took some adjusting to get it to fit right. The best trick I can recommend is, putting it all together and rotating it with a chain wrench or one of those adjustable filter toold, You know the ones with the rubber stap. I did that, left the clamps loose and rotated the resonator to get the cleranaces the way i wanted them.

I wasn't pleased with the 3.5" Slash cut tips. They did a horrible job polishing them. Plus I just don't think they are big enough or necessarily the right shape to fill the slots in a T/A bumper. I like the power ovals from Mecham better.

The sound is wonderful and WOT and I like the idle. Its loud inside but I like that. The only part I dont like is when I'm just putting around town or if I lug it a little bit. You have to have some RPM's in it before it sounds good. I would like it to be deeper at lower RPM's.

I have the LM2,manifolds,and factory y pipe.I got it about 4 years and 100,000+ miles ago.I love the way it sounds through out the entire rpm range. The only issue I had was the over the axle pipe was kinda of a pain to keep from rattling on anything.Other than that I think its the best sound for the buck

I installed LM1 when I first got my car in 2004 and have heard nothing but good things from friends and people who have heard it. I can remember starting it for the first time. WOW! Nothing but smiles on mine and my brothers face. My uncle took it for the first test drive so we could hear it from outside the car. ******* Awesome. When a friend and I finish his LT install on his 98 Z28, its my turn. I'm going with Jet Hot LT's w/emissions and a catted Jet Hot Y. I'm really hoping its not too loud for my taste. I don't want to have to change my catback, but I guess we'll see.
Here's what the car sounds like now...

I think the LM1 has a baffled muffler.I know the LM2 is not.The muffler on the LM2 is really nothing more than a swollen piece of pipe.

You have it backwards. LM1 is an open hollow pipe, LM2 has baffles.

I love my lm1. Great bang for buck at under $300. Its as loud as you drive it. If you are in econ mode (or driving a girl) and are shifting at very low rpms it isnt very loud; dont really hear it with music on.

It has an awesome idle and absolutely screams at wot. Sounds very, very mean, you'd think the car is pissed off.

I have to say it gets loud right around 80 on highway, with a m6. Not a big deal, stick to 75 less likely to get ticket anyways. But unless you have dynomat or something i think it might be too loud for an auto, though i have never heard.

Rest of exhaust is stock btw.
