I'm running a catted y with a Magnaflow muffler installed in the stock CME exhaust. I constantly get compliments. One guy (just this Friday) said my car reminded him of the main car from a movie called The Wraith (one of Charlie Sheen's first movies - worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet). All I could do was smile and say, "Thanks!" even though I think that was a little out there. My last f-body was an LT/ORYP/Magnaflow setup and I really enjoyed that one too. Either way, it's not a bad setup.
