Go with the FRA for now.. it's free <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Just don't get too crazy cutting it out.
I do suggest getting a FTRA or the Brand "W" one <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> .
The SLP one was the original version, but it's not as affective as the ones listed above.

Re: SLP CAI Vs. FTRA Vs. FRA
Go with the FTRA. It has been proven time and time again to be the best true ram air kit available for the LS1's. The SLP CAI is useless at any speeds below 100 because the metal ducting doesn't extend down far enough to get a real ram air kind of effect and the FRA has to be done to do the FTRA anyways.

I say go with the FTRA. Mine kicks some major butt once I pass the 60mph mark <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
