New Weiand Intake for LS1

Just a little information, Weiand has a new intake for the LS1/LS6. As for as pefomance I don't see how it could out perform better than the 2001 up intake or the Holley , unless it is a blower/turbo situation, but is is an option for all of us.

It says on the website that it is designed to work from idle to 62000 rpm. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Obviously a typo, but does that mean that the LS6 and even new Holly intakes are only good up to 6200 rpm? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

From what I heard, it is promoted as being beter for higher pressures associated with the bottle & turbos. Still like the LS6.

These were only made to port, not to just buy and then install w/o no work done or you just stay with the ls6 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> ...
