picked my headers up from being coated today, i think they look badass!

they are part #65703. I had my buddy weld them up and then got them coated.

very nice.

when you had them welded, was your friend able to weld all the way around the tubes? i was wondering how hard it would be to have that done...

nope, there was no way to get in there. we forced the collector on as far it would go (which left no visible streaks of light coming through) then welded as far as we could, and the coating should cover the rest. heard of a couple people doing it this way.

no, i had pacesetters before these.

if i launch as planned next time, i should be able to go 10s even if i had stock manifolds on

Those look awesome. Is this just regular ceramic coating? Inside and out?

as far as i know, I had Turbo Hot here in Riverside do them, They say its retains the heat in the headers by such and such percent and all that jazz etc etc.

do you know what the difference is between the headers for 98-99 is and 2000-02 is?? A local shop has the ones for 99 in stock but i have a 2000 and im trying to see if they will work

yea, the smog equip is diff, those are the only real differences. Im not sure exactly on what the differences are, but i know if you are going to get a "Race" stylee anyhow with no smog equipment it wont matter

im not

these went in smooth as hell. I had the passenger side on in about 30 minutes. The drivers side would have been just as easy if it wasnt for the McLeod bellhousing and the bulge on the side of it

im very happy with these headers for $409
