Re: Does your lid hit your hood?? I have a 2K SS w/ Whisper Lid and it contacts in multiple places across the lid. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I though I was the only one with this problem. And I never slam the hood shut I always gently push it closed
Re: Does your lid hit your hood?? Ls1 Motorsports hits in two spots about half dollar size. I emailed them and they never responded. I guess they realize they have a mess up so theyre going to ignore it.

Re: Does your lid hit your hood?? 01 SS SLP lid rubs. left a dime sized mark.. big deal. I got 15hp from the lid. A small *** blemish on the underside of the hood vs. losing 15hp.. I'll stick with the blemish

hood, and there are several spots w/ 1/4" or
less clearance. Used rolled up aluminum foil
taped in various places & looked at crush.
Worst spots on stocker are at the oval exit &
front edge of the silencer pod.
So you gotta improve airflow with no more than
1/4" (minus tolerance) height increase over OEM.
