LiL SS it really can be made by anyone with medal cutting tools and some heater duct work.

My dumbass would smash that thing up on a curb in about 2 days. I wonder if there could be a lower profile but wider one built that tapers back. Interesting.

(now you know I have a big a$$) The thing about this is you have to remove the nose of the car to make it totally air tight.

You remove the portion that is bolted to the header. The tubes can stay.. that's what the block off plates are for. Many of the sponsors carry the "air tube" block off plates.

Yes, how do you keep from throwing a code with the air pump removed??
Been trying to get an answer on this, I want to do this mod real bad.
Is the only way to not set an SES is with custom programming or LS1 edit ??

I'm sure there is a way to trick the computer... but just blocking off the EGR doesn't have any gain. The gain comes from removing the weight of the pump and getting rid of the tubing.

on the hollow log mod is there anyway that you could lengthen the primary tubes on the manfold by cutting it and putting short pieces of pipe in between the 2 pieces of manifold i know that this will require modifacations to the exhaust afterwards to make it hook up right but does anyone think it would work and is so how well would it work
