GM has very strict rules. It's part of the deal being a Tier 1 OE supplier. SLP cant even post pictures of their assembly operations. I'm talking about just an SS on a lift getting the wheels changed.

I can understand how some may raise their eyebrows. There is nothing they can do.

The SLP Chief Engineer uses a few enthusiasts to provide accurate information out on the net. If you dont trust the info until you see hard data, that is your choice.

All I can say is I wouldnt post any of it unless I believed it. I dont believe in wasting bandwidth.

I found a good pic from someone's website.

Yeah and I believe that SLP's headers net you a gain of 50 HP! I too will raise the BS flag!

If I was concerned with dealer issues and an aftermarket lid I would spend 5 minutes to swap out to the stock lid before going in for warranty work and save $300!

They are in Troy, Michigan. The do all the OE work. SS, Firehawk, Thunderbolt.

SLP Performance Parts in in Toms River, NJ. They do the aftermarket work (headers, loudmouth, etc).

Seperate operating companies. One has nothing to do with the other.

At least know what you are saying before you flame.

Dude you don't have to get all cunty all because I won't spend $300 for a "Stock looking" lid so I can be like the rest of you dorks that think your fully loaded, completely stock, Zainoed peices of **** are the almighty of the LS1 arena. You guys are worse that the stuck up C5 owners!

Now run along and go Zaino something!

Richie don't argue with ChrisL - look at his sig he is from NY! and to top it off he is some sort of an asswipe, democrat!!! There is no arguing with democrats - they don't use logic to argue, they use emotion. They are "sensitive" like that.
