Default tried search. What psi shoudl AC system be at?

Owners manual and Parts store both say check under hood. There is no label under my hood. Just wondering what the AC psi should be.

Thanks

The label under the hood is on the stock airbox on the Z28. It gives the total charge for a dry, vacuumed system: 1.5 lbs.
The high and low pressures are dependent on temp and humidity and are listed in the Helms manual.
Here's an example from 2000 Helms:
Ambient temp 80-90*
Humidity < 50%
Low gauge pressure 28-38 psi
High gauge pressure 140-215 psi
Center outlet duct temp 38-55*

Ambient temp 80-90*
Humidity > 50%
Low gauge pressure 30-40 psi
High gauge pressure 150-235 psi
Center outlet duct temp 45-65*

Thanks

On a 134a system it will have a big and small quick connect fittings the small one is the low side. the adapters will only work on the right one so there is no chance of getting them mixed up.
