Default Problem with Race gas....

Something in my race gas has setteled out. My 5.5gallon container of Sunoco 104 has been sitting up for about a month in my car. I checked on it today and there is a bunch of sand like stuff at the bottom. Is it unuseable now? What setteled out?

Sunlight probably caused it. Typically it will cause race gas to granulate. Dont know if its useable, I wouldn't trust it if you have to use race gas. Make sure to filter it some before you use it too.

Don't use it. It'll gum up inside and that'll be bad.

I though it would be out of sunlight in my car with the 5% tint all the way around, but I guess not.

Thanks anyway, I'll just use it in my lawnmower.

Justin,

Where did you get your gas at? I wonder if any local Sunoco station around my area could order it? Thanks

I picked mine up at Thunder Racing in Baton Rouge. Local speed shops should have some.
