Pinging
<strong>I autotapped my car thursday and got 2.8 degrees of KR and I can definatly hear it. I just changed the plugs and wires, so I know its not that. My guess is it is the gas I am buying, it is 93 shell. I am going to fill up somewhere else next time and see if that helps.

The temp gets over 85* and it started pinging so bad, I thought I had a plug fowling out. And the trans was pulling timing hard on shift and a very audible squel could be heard from the tranny also.
I slap the stock MAF on and all is well, no more of the problems mentioned. I hate going backwards on mods but this is one time I didn't mind. All i lost was a slight bit of throttle tip in response. It pulls better and shifts better now.
On my 01, I had to get rid of the TB bypass before the ping would leave.
