I really didn't notice a different on my LTs or my intake. Or going to duals. Or getting a tune . lol. I just think i don't feel the minor changes that they do. I'm sure if i did something bigger like a cam i would notice it, I just didn't on any of the bolt-ons for some reason... Maybe the problem is I don't drive my car at WOT enough to feel a difference haha

still waiting on my TB, he hasn't gotten back to me yet

my list to do, includes... LT's, PTB, and cleaning my maf... along with lack of cats, new plugs/wires, and all that, I should hopefully be getting better mileage than I have been, not to mention a reasonable amount of HP more...

but, we'll see... lately its been running like ****, even with the air system yanked, too rich but not throwing any codes that i can tell

no, no sound clips.
The shop that tuned it were kinda of surprised by the numbers. they said those are a lil high for a 98. for an 01-02 it's more likely.

So after you have done all that stuff, what actually makes a '98 different from the '01-'02s besides the cam? Are all '98-'00s the same in that way, or did they change them between '98 and '00 (not the cam, whatever else is different)?

Wait a second...are you saying that with all of the mods in your signature....your car only runs a 13 second quarter mile? Are you Serious?

The 2000 to 2002's have the LS6 intake on them also.

I thought it was 2001 and 2002 that had the LS6 intake not the 2000. I also think it should run faster, just look at my mods, i do not have an intake or headers yet. I ran a 7.96 in the 1/8th the other night.

The main difference between the 01-02 and 98-00 was the LS6 intake and supposedly better flowing manifolds. So, if you put on the LS6 intake and headers on a 98-00, the power to the wheels would be about the same for all of the years.

If anything, I think the 98 and 99 could put down a few more ponies as the cam was alittle bigger than the 00-02 (with all else being equal; LS6 intakes, headers, etc.).

99's and 00's have smaller injectors than 98, 01, and 02 models as well
