i just got my ls6 manifold and just got my tb back from new era perf. Glad to see if made that much of a difference!!!!! cant wait to put mine on

Ok, thats what i was thinking the main difference was. Did they change the heads after '98 and not change them again (same '99-'02)? I have done all the bolt-ons now, so my exhaust will be on level with the '01-'02s and also the LS6 intake, so would that mean I would be a tad better than '98's, the same as other '99-'00s, and possibly a tad better than '01-'02s if the cam really is any different?


Whoever said the '98-'99 cam would make a tad more than the '00-'02 cam, I don't know about that (I would like to know though), but I do know that the two cams actually were '98-'00 and then '01-'02, just the '00 is different than what you said.

Exactly.

Thats how I did mine, LS6 intake first, then Headers.

Headers seemed to make a huge difference, just needs a tune now
