Torquing things...

Torquing things... How can you tell how many lbs. you are torquing a bolt with regular hand tools? I wanna do lots of things by myself and have install files, but need to know about the torquing to do it!

Re: Torquing things... For things like the manifold bolts
(and other plastic stuff) you might
want to get a little lb-in scale
torque wrench. I have one, it's old
looking and about 6" long. Pawn shops
are great for this sort of stuff 'cuz
hardly anyone knows what it is, let
alone wants one.
