Do O2 Simulators Make a engine run richer than The Regular O2 Sensors behind the Cats
Hi Gang!
I am sorry to bother you folks, but I really need to know if this is normal.
I have a 2002 Silverado with a 5.3. I removed the Cats and I am using O2 simms in the place of the rear O2 Simms. If I let me truck set and Idle for 2 or 3 mins and give it the gas I can see Dark Blue smoke behind that stinks Like unburnt raw fuel. Is this normal without cats or do I have a problem.
How much Effect does the rear O2 Simms have on Air Fuel Ratio. Does it take this much fuel to keep the Cats burning is this why That I see this????????
Thanks Lee Stroud. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

I didn't see that on my 99 SS.
Moving to tuning section.
