Looks a hair better than the Grot, but disapointing. No collector and the left side looks dented in several places for clearance.
Have you looked in it to see if the left pipe extends into the flow of the right pipe at the merge point?
Unless it is low priced, I would look into a custom pipe if I were buying those headers.

How do you guys like the MAC Headers with off road Y-pipes?
I was considering Hooker Long Tubes and Hooker Y pipe till I saw this post.
Its for a 96 LT1 Z, but I still tought your comments might help.
Thanks guys.

well, with worse weather, i just went from 12.79 @ 104mph to a 12.32 @ 110mph with the addition of the headers/y-pipe. i got the jethot coated one and it looks much better. still teh same design, but the coating makes it look better.

You meen to tell me it took Hooker all that time to come up with that POS. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> Looks like the custom y-pipe builders are going to be busy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
