Default Stainless Headers and Y-pipe NEW TECH SPONSOR

LPP is a new sponsor on LS1Tech.

We worked out a deal with a manufacture to sell there polished stainless steel race headers and y-pipe for LS F-bodies. We worked with them on producing them. They sent us mock ups and we cut and adjusted everything to fit perfect then they used the mock ups to produce a finish product. I have the finish product ones on my car now and had no fitment issues.

The headers have 1 ¾” primaries and 3” collectors and O2 bungs in the collectors
The Y-pipe is 3” with O2 bungs for Wideband tuning. You can contact us at
lpp@tampabay.rr.com

The Headers and Y-pipe togeather are $600 shipped
Headers alone are $450 shipped
Y-pipe alone is $250 shipped

Let me know if interested. Here's some pictures.

We are also selling Polished Stainless headers and x-pipe for C5 corvette.

Headers and X-pipe are $800 shipped

Nice.. so people can finally talk about these headers now on Ls1tech. Man $600 shipped is a good deal too. I may have to scrape up some money.

They have been selling their emission style headers on ebay but now that they are making the race version and the matching y-pipe we are the only dealer selling them. They do not do direct sales of the race version or the y-pipe.

That Y pipe is a clone of the Pacesetter Y pipe. Maybe the inside looks better but the pipework and the merge cut is identical.

If I did not already have QTP headers, I would probably get these. Sounds like a good value.

Sorry no 2 1/2" Y
The y is close to the floor just like any other y you buy. Nothing that a bump stop or a piece of heater hose wouldn't take care of. Here's a quote from Thunder racings add for bump stops. "It's a well known fact that all LS1 Camaros and Firebirds cars have a "banging" issue when a set of long tube headers are installed. This banging causes the knock sensor to activate, causing a timing retard, taking away much needed horsepower under hard acceleration (usually at a drag strip when traction is ideal). This Mufflex hanger uses a rubber bumpstop that will not allow the Y-pipe to hit the underbody of the car causing this situation."

to be honest, I am going to have to say, you need to offer a "kit" item if you can... I don't care if you don't offer bolts/gaskets but at least see about getting them offered with some band clamps and some 02 bung plugs... or at minimum, the plugs, those things are a pain in the *** to wait for sometimes

We are working on getting the bung plugs to ship with the headers. As far as the band clamps we tried to work out a deal with a wholesale supplier for the clamps but unless we order 100 at a time we can not get a better price than you can buy them for from Summit. If we can get enough sales going here we can look into getting the band clamps to ship with the headers.

I'd buy a set if they came with bungs for the 02's. As soon as you start selling them with those shoot me a PM.

They do have bungs for the O2's. There is a bung in each header for the front O2's and there is also a bung in each side of the Y for wideband tunning.

+1 that is an exact copy of the Pacesetter y in stainless. I have seen SS autochrome stuff. I doubt the inside of the merge looks any better than pacesetters.

If these start to sell really well and there isnt any big issues with them (doesnt seem to be), I wonder if the SS competitors will do anything to try and get some sales back....
