Default oil on tb blade and in intake?

I have a NW90 and custom billet valve cover. Took my TB off to put a plate system on and discovered oil. Just a light lining of it and one drop on the front of the intake floor.

Where is it coming from? Is it from the valve cover from + pressure? There is a hose running from the valve cover to the tb, my guess is it for + pressure. Some people use a filter and vent to the engine compartment. Is this where my oil in the intake is coming from? I have a catch can for the pcv. Should I make one for the tb hose or just throw a fuel filter in there and swap it when it gets full? This has to be where the oil build up on the intake runners in the heads comes from after thousands of miles. ?

Usually coming from your PCV. You sure your catch can is rigged right?

Yea, its the line that goes from the valve cover to the tb. On a factory valve cover there is a baffle to keep the oil from going up the hose. On the billet cover there is no baffle. I'm gonna T it in with the catch can for the pcv.

You can either install a catch can or delete the system and install a breather. A breather eliminates the oil in the intake problem. A catch can works for some and not for others. I chose to go the breather route and blocked off all the pcv ports.

problem is the breather just spews the stuff into your engine compartment. I suppose you can remote locate the breather but your still gonna have oil going somewhere and after a while that somewhere will look like crap.

I've had mine on for several thousand miles. I haven't had anything in my engine compartment. That is just from my experience so far.

I get a decent amount of crap in my catch can to know that it wouldnt be pretty to have it exiting the engine without catching it.

Get a breather with a filter and clean the filter once a month? Never seen the breather so not sure if that would even work but just asuggesting. Mine seems to be losing oil somehow, not much but enough for the low oil light to come on after 2 months, so I am looking into doing a catch can or breather and see how much is coing out of there. Also heard about the 2001 having not too good piston rings and that could cause it too. Not sure though.
