If you could do it all over again...what Lid/induction system would you go with?

Right now I just have a Direct Flow lid, and I am wondering if there is something better out there....if you already have a lid, what would you replace it with? My basic mods are in my sig.

I would put all the companies that make lids in a hat and pick one and buy that...lol b/c a Lid is a lid is a lid.... but I would go with whatever was cheaper or on sale as long as it was a reputable company and not some E bay crap

Well...I was thinking something aside from a lid. My friend just bought a stock Z28 and she wants to put a lid on it, so I was thinking I could give her mine and get something "better"....but I am not sure if there is anything out there that will make a noticeable difference, especially considering my current mods.

Lid is a lid.. only difference is fit and finish. I doubt one will give more power than the next. If you really want to try something different pick up a the K&N setup that replaces the stock radiator support piece and uses a single large cone... only downfall with that K&N is its expensive as hell.

Stick with the direct flow. Nothing wrong with it. Volant is awesome too. The only visible differenct between the DF lid and the rest are in the back corners. The direct flow is more rounded. Not saying that it makes more power, it's just different. To do it again, I would do what I did. I hacked up a direct flow and used it to make a mold and copied it with real carbon fiber. Too much work, but one of a kind

GMHTP has done tests, and not all lids are equal. It's not much of a difference in HP and TQ, but the fit is a huge difference.
