I LOVE my Mufflex... I've run this setup on two cars and if you ever plan on camming the car there is NO BETTER SOUND than the echo this exhaust produces

Check out my recent post:

IMO the spintech gives the LS1 an old school 60's chrysler sound. Best sounding IMO.

I had a 4" Spintech on my '02 Z. It had a good sound. I wish I'd got rid of my cats and heard it without them. It just wasn't loud enough for me with the cats in place. But I went 3" Flowmaster TDs instead.

Not so much the piping, more the design of the muffler. This is only what I have read while searching for Mufflex reviews. I am pretty local to Mufflex and several of my friends have their exhuast. It's a very nice exhuast.

Yeah, meant the muffler, that bish is HUGE!!! I really wish it wasn't, looks odd, but it gives it the nice echo I guess...

My neighbor had their 4" system with a Spintech, sounded amazing.

Yeah, just took her for a long drive to Ontario and I actually love driving my car again! Stuff that made nose that I just figured was due to the hard suspension was actually a crappy exhaust because now the car is smooth .

These new clamps completely eliminated all chances of exhaust leak, thanks to the Flowmaster Y there is no drone, rasp or popping and the Mufflex/Spintech is nice and smooth cruising then pretty serious sounding on WOT...

Let's just say a Mach 1 learned the hard way

Another vote for the Mufflex system.... I'm running a 4" Spintech superstock race muffler on mine... The case is 4 3/4 x 9 1/2 x 12 single in & single out dumped before the rear fascia... It is by far the best sounding muffler I've ran.... With my cam it really thumps the ground at idle.

Between my numerous LS1,LT1 cars and several of my buddies cars I have heard just about every exhaust system out there. I decided on the 4" mufflex with the spintech muffler for my current ride. My firehawk is pretty much stock except for the exhaust which I have pacesetters, mufflex off-road Y with flowmaster 4" collector and the 4" spintech muffler. I couldn't be happier than with this setup. The mufflex pieces are pretty expensive considering their not stainless. The optional tips I ordered with the cat-back were an extra $160 but they sure do look good. If I end up keeping the car I will eventually do a H/C swap. cant wait to hear that. Click on the link below and check out the pics of my silver hawk. I would like to know what everyone thinks of the tips I used.

GMHTP covered SLP day at E-Town years ago and wrote in their magazine that Mufflex was planning on coming out with a stainless system. I called them a couple months after and talked to them. They said they ditched the project because the price of the piping was way too expensive, which in turn would make it much more pricey for the customer. Stainless Works makes a SS 3.5" and maybe even a 4" system; $$$$.
