Default Pacesetter headers and TSP catted Y questions

I am getting ready to order a set of Pace Setter Long Tubes and the Catted Y pipe from TSP, obviously all from Texas Speed. I have a couple of questions.

Is the only difference between the 00-02 headers and the Race Style, the fact that the Race Style has no EGR fittings?

Will I need to order the 2 24 inch o2 extension cables, or do I need 4?

Any other input would be great.

You need 2-24 02 extensions for the front and 2 o2 sims for the rear o2s. I have the same setup RaceStyle Pacesetters with the TSP Catted Y pipe.

You dont need sims if you're planing on getting a tune which i would recommend. They can just tune the rear o2's out then

I have a 12 inch on the passenger side, it works and a 24 inch extension on the driver side.

Yeah, but unfortunately I need to purchase a laptop, and then get HPTuners, so we are looking at $1000 with a used laptop. I probably wont be able to have that much extra cash until mid July. I am thinking of just waiting until then to see how my cash flow works out. If I cant get the cash I may still save or just get the sims until I can tune her.

Exactly what he said. I just installed mine and luckily found someone with LS1edit to take out the rears. The catted y-pipe hangs way low, so if you are lowered or plan on lowering they will drag on the ground. Standard height will hit speed bumps and other obstacles. I am actually going to sell the catted y-pipe and get the offroad one. If you are interested I will sell mine or trade them for the offroad one. Car has not been driven yet becaus it is lowered and I think it will be a problem. And I sucked a rag in the intake after the install and bent some valves, but dont tell anyone.

It's not that surprising. There are loads of cars that way. 95+ F-bodies, Mustangs, Corvettes, GM trucks, Vipers, etc. Basically anything with two cats.

Although as stated, the TSP catted Y does not have provisions for the rear O2s.
